We welcome all donations of baseball or softball equipment in usable condition. You can donate gear directly to PIFBS or start a collection project in your community.

We encourage those within driving distance of Philadelphia to come to our headquarters to drop off equipment and see our operation in action!

To drop off in Los Angeles you MUST schedule an appointment at least 48 hours in advance.

IMPORTANT: Currently, all drop-offs must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.

Ship Equipment

If you are unable to visit us in person, you can also ship your donations to our headquarters in PA. We are able to accept small packages as well as freight. If you are sending freight, please let us know beforehand by calling 267-263-4069.

We offer generous shipping discounts for donors sending gear to us. Please contact PIFBS for estimates and additional info.

Start a Collection

  1. Register your project at /for-donors/register-your-project/.
  2. Download signs, brochures, and flyers from the Collection Drive Toolkit.
  3. Pick your collection dates, location, and drop-off bins.
  4. Spread the word with flyers, email, and social media.
  5. Hold the equipment drive.
  6. Get the gear to PIFBS using the Donate Equipment instructions.
  7. Use a fundraising page only as optional support for shipping or extra project costs.
  8. Contact PIFBS for banner or raffle support.
Tips for a Successful Collection
  • Customize and print posters for the collection.
  • Email flyers to friends and family.
  • Ask local baseball and softball teams, coaches, and leagues to participate.
  • Partner with elementary and middle schools.
  • Ask sporting-goods stores for donations or raffle support.
  • Ask for small donations to help cover shipping costs.
  • Ask local businesses to donate money, gift cards, or merchandise for raffles.
  • Post about the project on social media and tag PIFBS.

Project Support: PIFBS may be able to provide collection banners and branded raffle items. Availability is limited. Request support through PIFBS when registering or by contacting PIFBS.
