Tull Family Foundation Equipment Grant Application

Tull Family FoundationPIFBS Logo

The Tull Family Foundation has generously funded a 2022 Equipment Grant Program in partnership with Pitch In For Baseball and Softball (PIFBS). The equipment grant program will provide 20 local youth organizations with much needed baseball and softball equipment prior to their upcoming 2022 seasons.

The Tull Family Foundation Equipment Grant Program is a community grant process open to all baseball and softball leagues as well as schools serving economically disadvantaged youth in the greater Pittsburgh area. The program will award 20 equipment grants (with an average allocation of over $2,000 per grantee) to area non-profits who meet the program requirements.

Once all applicants are chosen, representatives from each youth organization will work with PIFBS to identify the greatest equipment needs for their respective organizations. After equipment lists are finalized, PIFBS will secure equipment and ship directly to grantees.

Program Eligibility:

  • Applicants must serve economically disadvantaged children.
  • Applicants must be located in one of 26 eligible Pennsylvania counties (Allegheny; Armstrong; Beaver; Bedford; Blair; Butler; Cambria; Centre; Clarion; Clearfield; Crawford; Elk; Erie; Fayette; Forest; Greene; Huntingdon; Indiana; Jefferson; Lawrence; Mercer; Somerset; Venango; Warren; Washington; Westmoreland)
  • Impact Reports must be submitted by July 1, 2022

DISCLAIMER: There are significant supply chain and transportation issues occurring around the world. Equipment and uniforms are difficult to acquire, and backorders are expected on many items. Some backorders are already extending through the Fall. PIFBS has taken steps to reduce these hurdles, but we still expect some issues acquiring your gear. Catcher's Gear and Gloves are specifically impacted. Please select Yes or No on the following options so that PIFBS can act accordingly.*
  • *Must be affiliated with the program/school (i.e. League Official, A/D, Coach, Assistant Coach etc.)
