Let’s take a look back at the best moments in May.

Have a wonderful birthday, Lauren!

Please join us in wishing a very Happy Birthday to PIFBS Program & Office Coordinator, Lauren Nagata!  Being from the Aloha State, we appreciate Lauren for bringing her Hawaiian sunshine attitude to the office every day!

Registered Project

As an umpire and baseball player who played for nearly all his life, Shailen wanted to help others play the game and experience the fun he has had. By finding a new home for all the equipment that still has life left to give, he decided to run a collection for PIFBS. Thank you for your support, Shailen!

Donation Drop-Off

Jack is currently preparing to take his black belt test this summer. As part of his training, Jack is required to complete a community service project. Given his love for baseball, he chose to run an equipment collection project with PIFBS. Jack had set up equipment collection bins outside his karate studio and Little League field. Thanks for your support, Jack! Good luck with your black belt test! 🥋⚾🥎

Belize Softball Federation

PIFBS has been supporting programs in Belize since 2017. This year, we provided an equipment grant donation to the Belize Softball Federation (BSF). This donation will promote and spread access to softball for schools within the Corozal District of Belize. We are proud to help support BSF and continue to grow the game of softball internationally 👊🥎

🚨APRIL NUMBERS ARE IN 🚨

Many youth baseball and softball seasons started in April, and we made sure programs were receiving the gear they needed to play.

âš¾33 out of 50 U.S. States received a PIFBS equipment grant

🥎 PIFBS supported an estimated 14,200+ kids play ball

Twins Community

This month, PIFBS and @TwinsCommunity proudly partnered to provide over 70 baseball and softball team kits to programs across Twins Territory! This equipment will help an estimated 3,700+ baseball, softball, and tee-ball players across four different states this season!

$5 Friday — Part 1

In our first-ever $5 Friday, we want to share one of our favorite stories about Lena from Minneapolis, MN.Lena’s original glove was way too small for high school softball. When her school received a PIFBS equipment grant, Lena was given a glove that fit her perfectly. Her play that season improved so much that she won the Most Outstanding Defensive Player award!

A new glove can make a massive difference in the way a child plays. Today on $5 Friday, will you donate to help us make a difference for other players like Lena?  Venmo us at @pifbs and help us provide the same opportunity that Lena was able to have.

Little League Donation Thank You

Thank you so much to @LittleLeague for their not-so-little donation to PIFBS! Thanks to their support, we received a TRUCK load of baseball and softball equipment that will continue to help kids play ball this summer! 👊⚾🥎

$5 Friday — Part 2

At 10 years old David started playing baseball, hoping to become a catcher. He was never able to start because he never had his own catcher set to use.

After David’s league, Indios De Columbia, received a PIFBS donation, he could finally start playing at his dream position.

David quickly became one of the best players on his team! His play helped lead his team to 1st place during their international tournament.

Today on $5 Friday, will you consider donating to help more players like David, and increase access to the game of baseball and softball.

Mamaroneck High School – Thank You

Thank you to the Pitch In For Baseball Club at Mamaroneck High School for your equipment donation! Organizing over 50 high school volunteers to help donate THREE pallets worth of gear is incredible! Their hard work will help kids all over the globe play ball this year⚾🥎
