July 7th – $5 Friday – Part 1
This $5 Friday, we are inspired by Cali who had never played softball before until this past season. Initially, Cali was shy and nervous about playing the catcher position. That changed when she saw the donated gear from PIFBS.
After her first practice, Cali was hooked on catching and wanted to do nothing else. She was constantly asking to suit up for every practice and game! The team improved significantly with the gear from PIFBS, making them feel unstoppable. Your contribution can help us continue to build this confidence for girls and boys around the world. PIFBS’ largest fundraiser of the year is happening soon at Top Golf
Join us on Thursday, September 7th for PIFBS’ largest fundraiser of the year at Topgolf NE Philadelphia!

Sophia Donation
Coming from the Constitution State of Connecticut, Sophia decided to run an equipment collection for PIFBS! Sophia’s friend, Maddie, had completed projects before with PIFBS and urged her to do the same for her hometown. Sophia had a blast! Thank you for your donation, Sophia!
July 14th – $5 Friday – Part 2
Today is $5 Friday and we wanted to share our appreciation to our PIFBS equipment grant recipients. We love receiving thank-you letters and notes from players all over the globe! PIFBS was founded on the idea of providing all children the same opportunity to play ball.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we are proud to help over 1.2 million kids play baseball and softball in nearly 120 countries. However, there is still work to be done!

July 21st – $5 Friday – Part 3
Charlie tragically lost both his father and grandfather in a fishing accident before the baseball season began. Playing baseball with his friends helped him regain his confidence and found comfort in the game. His mother noticed how much happier he was when baseball started and playing with his friends. Athletes Unlimited Begins
The Athletes Unlimited Softball season is here and Aleshia Ocasio is back in action, competing and supporting PIFBS once again! July 28th – $5 Friday – Part 4
Before the season began, Sankofa Freedom Academy discovered a large amount of their equipment had been stolen. Not having gear to use, the team feared they would not be able to play this year. So, PIFBS stepped in and provided an equipment grant that “truly helped save our kids”!
