Helping the Dominican Republic Play Ball
Through a wonderful partnership with the Cleveland Guardians’ José RamÃrez and Wilson Sporting Goods, we helped over 200 kids play ball! Young players in José’s hometown of Banà had the chance to attend a clinic that involved training drills and inspiring speeches from MLB players. After meeting the athletes, each kid received brand-new baseball equipment!
PIFBS also united with Klutch Sports to ensure that 500+ kids from Santo Domingo, DR could play their favorite game. MLB players Eloy Jiménez, Bryan De La Cruz, and Génesis Cabrera helped donate new bats, catcher’s gear, and other apparel to 100 teams. We are thankful to everyone involved for helping us bring the gift of baseball to the youth of the Dominican Republic!
