When trying to decide on what he wanted to do for his Eagle Scout Project, Peter stumbled upon Pitch In For Baseball & Softball and instantly knew that collecting equipment was the project for him. As a baseball player himself, it was a natural fit and something that he was passionate about. In addition to collecting equipment, Peter pitched in at his local fieldhouse to clean out their equipment shed and donate the gear to PIFBS. Peter collected a record number of pieces of equipment to donate to us – coming in at over 1,500 pieces! He and his father made the trip to our warehouse in a rented UHaul to be able to deliver all of the gear. Peter wrapped up his Eagle Scout project by volunteering at our annual Phillies Day Community Fundraiser. PIFBS is grateful for all of Peter’s hard work collecting gear to help more kids play ball and volunteering his time to our organization!
