Before playing baseball this year, Ashlynn had never played a sport before. She came out for baseball this year without any equipment but after the team received a donation from PIFBS, Ashlynn was able to use a brand new glove for the very first time. Ashlynn’s mother says her participation in baseball this year has encouraged her to be more physically active and she has signed up for additional sports as a result. Even Ashlynn’s brother and sister have been encouraged by her participation in a sport and have decided to sign up for baseball as well!
