The 2019 season was an incredible bonding experience for all of the boys on the Isaac Middle School baseball team. The 7th grade boys on the team admired their 8th grade teammates so much that they shared their aspirations of being role models to the younger players on the team next year. As a whole, the team recognized their impact on their fellow classmates, adhered to the school’s behavioral expectations, and strived for academic success throughout the season and beyond. In response, the head coach agreed to find another tournament for the team to play in as long as the students continued to do well in school. The boys agreed, followed through, and they were able to not only participate in the Phoenix City Baseball Championship, but they won 1st place! The team was thrilled to end their season on such a high note and continued to demonstrate their leadership as the school year ended.
