In 2018, Pitch In For Baseball & Softball lost one of its founding board members, Dave Davis. In coordination with Dave’s wife, PIFBS recently completed a project with Horsham Challenger Little League to honor our dear friend Dave.
The Horsham Challenger Division welcomes players of all ages, who have physical and intellectual challenges, to enjoy the game of baseball along with their peers. Director of Operations & Programs, Steve Bizon, was able to deliver the donation to the league’s pizza party in November. The program was thrilled with the donation that included batting helmets, bats, gloves, apparel items, equipment bags, baseballs, and more! In total, the donation was valued at over $7,000. The PIFBS team is looking forward to catching the team in action this spring!
