Pitch In For Baseball & Softball reopened our office and warehouse in Harleysville, PA, on July 6th with a new sanitation system and safety measures in place.

We are now accepting baseball and softball equipment drop-offs once again, and all drop-offs must be made by appointment only. If you have equipment you would like to donate, please email info@pifbs.org to schedule your drop-off time.

All equipment drop-off appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Visitors to our warehouse will be required to wear masks and practice social distancing.

PIFBS has also implemented a new sanitation system, in order to ensure the safety of our donors, visitors, employees, and recipients.

In May, PIFBS received an Alpet D2 sanitizer, a rapid-kill, no-rinse surface sanitizer and disinfectant spray that kills 99.999% of detectable pathogens. The D2 is non-corrosive, EPA and FDA registered, and takes 60 seconds to sanitize and five minutes to disinfect surfaces after spray.

When equipment is dropped off at our facility, it will first sit for at least 36-48 hours. Our staff will then inspect it, collect all usable donations, and sanitize them before integrating the equipment into our inventory.

Following the suspension or cancellation of spring leagues due to COVID-19, communities need our help more than ever to get kids back on the field. Sports have been proven to help children overcome difficulties in their lives, and your donations give kids in underserved communities the chance to enjoy the benefits and joy the game provides.

If you have baseball or softball equipment you can donate, please reach out to us at info@pifbs.org to schedule your drop-off.
