By providing essential equipment to Williamsport Area Little League, we are making this possible. “Every day in my job, I hear from struggling parents and families who are in need of help. I can’t imagine being in those positions and having kids who want to play sports, only to have to let them down by telling them they can’t afford it. Your program helps alleviate some of the financial stress by providing basic equipment necessary to play the game. It has a significant impact on those who say they can’t afford a glove, which is necessary to play softball. You are changing the game for many kids. In a society where so much is going wrong, softball and baseball can make a positive impact or change in a child’s life, who may not have the positivity the need.
