The New York Yankees and the Matsui 55 Foundation (former Yankee Hideki Matsui’s nonprofit organization) partnered with Pitch In For Baseball & Softball to get 22 teams in the Bronx some brand new equipment to start their season. The teams were invited to Yankee Stadium in March for a distribution event to unpack their gear for a fun-filled afternoon. In total, the donation was valued at over $48,000. Thanks to the support of the Yankees and Matsui 55 Foundation, over 400 kids in the Bronx will have a chance to play ball this year with new, safe equipment! Thanks Yankees and Matsui 55 Foundation!
