In June, Pitch In For Softball donated nearly $50,000 in equipment to the Natasha Watley Foundation as part of Year 1 of a 3-year partnership to help provide a high quality softball experience for under-resourced girls in the Los Angeles area during the summer. Natasha Watley Foundation currently runs a league in partnership with the City of Los Angeles. The PIFS Signature Project helped to provide equipment to expand an additional 8 teams and update gear for the existing 22 teams. Teams received a variety of equipment including softballs, bats, helmets, gloves, team bags, and more.

The Natasha Watley Foundation was founded by Natasha Watley, a Pitch In For Softball Advisory Committee member as well as a two-time Olympian, winning a gold and silver medal in the 2004 and 2008 Olympic games, respectively. Prior to playing for the US National team, Natasha played at UCLA under legendary coach Sue Enquist, where she still holds numerous records and was inducted into the Hall of Fame. Natasha played professionally in the National Pro Fastpitch League and in Japan, until she retired in 2017.
