At East Hartford Little League, many families often can not afford the registration fees. The league offers scholarships to allow those children to play ball, but supplying equipment for the kids to use is also a challenge. The equipment grant the league received in 2020 impacted the entire league across all divisions. Players were able to utilize safe equipment that they otherwise may not have been able to afford, and parents could sign their kids up knowing that the league could supply gear for their children to return to the field safely.
