The Loukoumi Make a Difference Foundation Finalists Application

The Loukoumi Foundation and Pitch In For Baseball & Softball have a shared purpose to mobilize and engage children and young adults in philanthropy. The Loukoumi Make A Difference Foundation is focused on inspiring a new generation of service leaders and helps connect and encourage children to make a difference by paying forward their talents through community service projects that mean something to them – all while having fun in the process.

The Loukoumi Foundation and Pitch In For Baseball & Softball have joined forces to offer a unique grant program to provide leagues and schools with equipment and field renovations/improvement support for the 2022 seasons. This partnership is aimed at providing support where it is needed most.

Part 4: Donation Acceptance Agreement

- I understand that my league will be responsible for the cost of shipping equipment. PIFBS will provide estimated cost before shipping.
- Inspect all equipment for safety. Recipient indemnifies PIFBS and its officers, directors, employees and volunteers from any liability or damages resulting from the use of any donated items. The decision to use an item is yours and yours alone.
- Launder all donated clothing and uniforms before they are distributed (if applicable).
- Provide PIFBS with photos of the recipient children and thank you letters from players, parents, coaches or league officials within 30 days of the receipt of the donation. By checking this box you acknowledge that you have the means to take clear, decent photos and deliver them to us. PIFBS will be using these photographs and letters to promote its charitable efforts with donors and prospective partners in a variety of mediums (i.e. social media, website, annual report). Please note that if these materials are not received, PIFBS reserves the right to deny future requests.
- Acknowledge the support of PIFBS and The Loukoumi Make A Difference Foundation (where applicable) within all public documents, social media (Facebook, Twitter), websites, press materials and public statements related to the program or league. Logos and sample press releases are available.
- Complete Recipient Impact Report. Please note that PIFBS reserves the right to deny future requests if this report is not completed.
