PALS TY
This Fall, Philadelphia Adult League Softball (PALS) hosted their 2nd Annual Philly Cheesesteak Classic. Through their charity softball tournament, PALS raised over $1,850 for PIFBS! We appreciate everyone who played in this event and those that donated to PIFBS! Your support helps more kids play ball!
Border Little League (Hodgdon, ME)
This Spring, Border Little League (Hodgdon, ME) received their first equipment grant from PIFBS. Operating through sponsors and donations can be challenging when it’s time to purchase new gear. With this donation, they were able to keep their baseball and softball program free!
Jahan (West Windsor, NJ)
Jahan (West Windsor, NJ) has been collecting equipment for his donation to PIFBS since Spring of this year! Jahan has always loved the game of baseball and wanted to give back to the game any possible.
PIFBS In the Dominican Republic
PIFBS and the Amazin’ Mets Foundation partnered up to donate 25 team kits to baseball, softball, and t-ball programs in the Dominican Republic! Over $35,000 worth of new equipment was donated to help expand youth leagues within the country.
Through the ‘Futuras Estrellas’ program, opportunities are ensured to play the game of baseball and softball for underserved youth in the D.R.
Ryan (Collegeville, PA)
Ryan (Collegeville, PA) showed how supportive a community can be when he was collecting for his service project. In a span of a few hours, Ryan’s hometown donated hundreds of pieces of equipment! Ryan is thrilled to give back to other communities after his community supported him. You can also help support underserved communities, like Ryan did.
Turkey Baseball & Softball Federation
Turkish Baseball & Softball Federation has provided a tremendous opportunity to expand players’ horizons. As soccer and basketball are the dominant sports in Turkey, baseball and softball is a game yet to be learned for many.
Through Turkish Baseball & Softball Federation, players have been given the ability to travel outside of their country and even compete in world championships! In 2022, some softball players went on to compete on the Turkish National Softball team in the Women’s Softball European Championship!
Ava Fagin Donation
Ava (San Diego, CA) donated equipment to PIFBS through her 2nd Annual Gear Drive! During her league’s tryout sessions, other players donated to her collection drive. Through this, she ended up being able to collect a TRUCK load worth of equipment! Way to go, Ava!

“I’m partnering once again with my friends at Pitch In For Baseball & Softball (PIFBS) to help raise money for their 2023 programming. As you probably know by now, PIFBS is a nonprofit organization committed to eliminating equipment as a barrier to baseball and softball participation for underprivileged youth around the globe.
This month, they will be auctioning off a Watch With Zack Game at either Citi Field or Yankee Stadium. The winner will get the full experience of snagging baseballs at an MLB game with me!
