February at Pitch In For Baseball & Softball (PIFBS) was filled with inspiring stories, proactive initiatives, and moments that brought joy to all involved. Take a look back at our memorable February.

Celebrating Leadership and Dedication

Happy Birthday to our incredible CEO, Meredith Kim! Meredith is the driving force behind our mission to break barriers and bring the joy of baseball and softball to every child. Here’s to another year of spreading smiles and creating unforgettable moments on and off the field!

The PIFBS Club is BACK! After winning the PIFBS Equipment MVP Award, The PIFBS Club of Mamaroneck High School returned to our headquarters this past Saturday to volunteer in preparing PIFBS equipment donations.

Empowering the Next Generation of Female Athletes

On National Girls and Women in Sports Day, we’re thrilled to support the spirit of competition and teamwork. In 2023 alone, PIFBS is proud to support nearly 100,000 girls play softball, fostering a love for sports that goes beyond the field.

Enriching Lives Through Global Partnerships

Last month, PIFBS partnered with Wilson Sporting Goods to donate more than $21,000 in equipment to help kids play in the Dominican Republic. In partnership with the Cleveland Guardians, we helped more than 200 kids in José Ramirez’s hometown of Baní, DR. These future stars had the opportunity to learn from MLB athletes and get some much-needed equipment.

Thank you to the Cleveland Guardians, José Ramírez, Wilson Sporting Goods for helping bring life-changing moments for these young athletes!

Impacting Communities

PIFBS has been off to a busy start in 2024! In January, we helped over 11,000 kids playball! We donated over $180,000 in equipment value to programs in the U.S., Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Turkey.

Thank you to our donors and partners who have helped make this possible!

Encouraging Generosity in Young Supporters

Thank you, Caleb, for supporting PIFBS for your mitzvah project! Caleb donated to PIFBS because he loves the joy that baseball can bring. He knows that many kids can’t afford equipment, so he wanted to give back and help continue the baseball journey for many others!

A Coach’s Testimony

“This team was formed three years ago due to your donations. The majority of the players on my team are from low-income families and can’t afford to purchase all the equipment that is necessary for a child to play baseball. This is the first year that I will be able to have a child play catcher because this is the first year we have catcher equipment. Chance, who will be playing catcher, was so excited to see the catcher’s equipment when I gave the team all of the donations!”
— Zachary Clark, Head Coach You can help us provide more opportunities for players like Chance. By donating to PIFBS or registering your project, you can help inspire children by investing in their future today. Visit PIFBS.org to make a difference today.
