Jordan is a 7th grader who decided to give softball a try for the first time this year. When she first joined, she was nervous and afraid of the ball. But everything changed when the new equipment arrived; she put on the catcher’s gear and confidently stepped behind the plate, leaving her fear behind.
Jordan is an incredibly bright student, yet she always struggled to connect with her peers. This softball season has been a game-changer—she found her place in a team, made friends, and truly became a part of the community.
