Pitch In For Baseball & Softball was grateful to team up with the Reds Community Fund and St. Elizabeth’s Healthcare again in 2020 to make baseball and softball possible for kids in the greater Cincinnati area and northern Kentucky! This year’s program benefitted nearly 2,000 children from 27 programs, including 12 high school baseball teams, 12 high school softball teams, and 3 local youth organizations. Representatives from each program came out for a distribution event on Wednesday, January 15th at Griffin Elite Sports Wellness to receive their gear. The equipment, all acquired through long-time PIFBS partner Wilson Sporting Goods, was valued at over $55,000. Reds outfielder Josh VanMeter joined the festivities for the day, greeting the teams and speaking to the group about the impact of baseball. This was the fourth year in a row teaming up with the Reds Community Fund and St. Elizabeth’s Healthcare and PIFBS is grateful to partner with both organizations and help grow baseball and softball in the greater Cincinnati area!
