DeMarini has introduced a new BBCOR trade-in program that will benefit kids around the world through Pitch In For Baseball & Softball.

When it is safe for sports to resume, children will need our help more than ever. Sports have been shown to help kids rebound from difficult life events, and aid youth development by teaching life lessons and self-confidence and bringing communities together.

The DeMarini Trade-In and Trade-Up program is available to help encourage parents and children to recycle their used USA, USSSA or BBCOR bat, and in return receive a voucher for a new BBCOR bat from DeMarini.

DeMarini will then send donated bats to PIFBS, who in turn work to distribute those items to schools and communities most in need of them.

The program accepts two bats per household and covers shipping both ways. The offer is currently only available in the United States.

Anyone looking to trade in a used BBCOR bat should complete a trade-in form on DeMarini’s website (https://www.demarini.com/en-us/help/trade-in). DeMarini will then send a shipping label for the used bat, and will grant free shipping for bats purchased on demarini.com.

Based on the MSRP and the condition of the trade-in bat, DeMarini offer $25, $50 or $75 vouchers that can be applied to the purchase of a 2020 DeMarini BBCOR bat on demarini.com. Bat brands accepted for trade-in include Axe Bat, DeMarini, Easton, Louisville Slugger, Marucci, Mizuno, Rawlings, Victus, and TRUE.

PIFBS reduces barriers to play and promotes youth development by providing equipment directly to leagues, schools, and organizations around the world to start, continue, and/or expand their programs. Over the past 15+ years, Pitch In For Baseball & Softball has donated more than $10 million worth of equipment to 900,000+ kids in every state in the U.S. and 100 countries internationally.
