The DICK’S Sporting Goods Foundation Sports Matter Equipment Grant Program

At The Dick’s Sporting Goods Foundation we believe that sports make people better. Sports build character, increase confidence, motivate kids to stay in school and aim for higher education; teaching life lessons that extend well beyond the playing field. Through our Sports Matter grants and other support we’ve helped organizations, schools, and community teams across all 50 states provide opportunities for kids to play sports.

We also know that not everybody has the same access to sport, so we’ve made a commitment to give 1,000,000 kids in under-resourced communities a chance to play by 2023.
