Pitch In For Baseball & Softball is fortunate to be in our sixth year of partnership with the Minnesota Twins and the Twins Community Fund! PIFBS and the Twins teamed up for another year of supporting schools in Minneapolis and St. Paul with brand new baseball and softball equipment to start their seasons off. The donation, valued at $78,500, included gloves, bats, helmets, balls and more. This program will support 65 teams and 925 kids in the Twin Cities with brand new equipment and PIFBS will also collect data around how students attendance and academic performance improves as a result of playing baseball or softball this spring. The Twins generously hosted a distribution event at Target Field inviting students and coaches to come to the ballpark to check out their new gear!
