A local PIFBS supporter in the Fort Myers (Lee County), Florida area generously supported over 1,200 children with brand new equipment just in time for their spring seasons! The donation of equipment was valued at over $50,000 and helped six leagues in Lee County receive gear that they have needed for quite awhile. The Minnesota Twins graciously hosted a distribution event at their spring training facility in Fort Myers bringing the kids, coaches, and families out on the Twins first day of spring training and for the Twins open house for the local community. Minor league players and Twins mascot, T.C., joined in on the fun helping the kids open the gear and try it out for the first time! PIFBS is extremely grateful to the support of this special donor and our longtime partners, the Minnesota Twins, for helping many kids in the community!
